A State's Approach to Risk-Based Analyses: Similarities to and Differences from the USEPA's Principles and Practices

The information presented here summarizes a talk given at the US EPA's Board of Scientific Councilors Workshop on EPA Risk Assessment Principles and Practices on February 2, 2005. A portion of the talk dealt with the status of MDH's HRL rule revision at the time it was presented. Since then, the proposed rule has evolved and this evolution has resulted in changes in some of the approaches presented here.
