ABSTRACT
The study evaluated the efficacy of a three-month supplemental feeding intervention in encouraging weight gain among toddlers. Through linear regression analysis, this study aimed to elucidate the relationship between baseline measurements and monthly changes in toddler weight. Secondary data were collected and processed from 180 toddlers who underwent the intervention, covering baseline weight along with monthly measurements. These findings reveal a progressive month to month increase in body weight, as seen from the significant positive coefficients at eachmonth (β1 = 0.003, β2 = 0.204, β3 = 0.674), suggesting that the intervention had a positive and cumulative impact on children’s growth over a three-month period. These results underscore the importance of ongoing support and supplementation to achieve optimal growth outcomes. By measuring the impact of interventions on growth parameters, the study contributes valuable insights to the field, informing future strategies to address malnutrition and promote growth in vulnerable populations.
