Abstract
In this study, emulsified asphalt was prepared using AH-90 asphalt donated by Liaohe oilfield (China) as original asphalt and dissymmetric Gemini quaternary ammonium salts cationic surfactant as emulsifier. The antiaging performance of emulsified asphalt was studied by means of a weight-loss coefficient method. Based on the relationship between content of n-pentane asphaltene and aging time, the aging kinetics equations were set up. From the results, it could be drawn that the antiaging performance of emulsified asphalt was better than that of original asphalt. The aging process belonged to the first-order reaction.
