Virginia Franke Kleist, Ph.D., is Chair, MIS Department and an Associate Professor of MIS at the College of Business and Economics, West Virginia University. Her publications are in IS Frontiers, Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Journal of Computer Information Systems, and other prestigious research journals. Her topic areas include the economics of information goods products and security in systems. Kleist spent 10 years in industry in telecommunications network management operations.
