Prashant Palvia
Prashant Palvia is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Information Technology Management and Joe Rosenthal Excellence Professor in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, USA. His research interests include global information technology management, healthcare IT, security and privacy, virtual teams, societal issues of IT, and media choice theory. He has published 122 journal articles, 6 books, 21 book chapters, and 244 conference proceedings. Articles have appeared in such journals as the MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences, Journal of AIS, Communications of the ACM, Communications of the AIS, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, and ACM Transactions on Database Systems. He has co-edited six books. His latest co-edited book is “The World IT Project: Global Issues in Information Technology,” published by NOW and World Scientific in May, 2020.
