Page 2121, Fig. 2B: During assembly of the composite figure for this panel, which shows immunoblots that probe for RNA polymerase II content across various chromatographic fractions by monitoring its integral RPB1 and RPB6 subunits, the strip labeled RPB6 in the panel inadvertently duplicated the RPB1 data.

The figure has been corrected and now shows the RPB6 data that we had originally intended to include. A labeling error relating to the Mediator subunit that was probed in parallel has also been corrected. Given that the chromatographic fractionation profiles of RPB1 and RPB6 subunits are virtually indistinguishable, the conclusion of the panel that there is a subpopulation of the Mediator complex that is associated with RNA polymerase remains unaffected, as are the remainder of the results and conclusions in the paper. The authors regret the oversight and offer their sincere apologies to the scientific community.
