Analysis of Destructive Leadership Behaviour from Real Time Results: Evidence from an Indian University

Abstract

Adherence the transparency policy of the Government, apex body of an Indian University issues its observations on the webpage of the University. This article through a critical analysis of the said observations. This article first analyzed the framework of Indian Universities and detected deviance behaviour of the chief executive of the University, Vice Chancellor. The deviance behaviour is then analyzed in interaction with the destructive leadership behaviour with regard to corruption, integrity and effectiveness. With the real time data from the webpage that provides a scope for the researchers to find and build concrete theories. Finally this research provides some insights through suggestions to the National Government and the Chancellor as well towards a concrete structure of good Governance and ethical leadership of the Vice Chancellor.
