Chinwe Ezinna Oriji, a McNair Fellow and PEO Scholar, is a PhD Candidate in African and African Diaspora Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Her specialization includes African Diaspora theory, critical race theory, African immigration, and race in Africa. Her dissertation analyzes how the process of racialization for the postcolonial Nigerian Diaspora is harnessed within a global racial order.
