Abstract
Some points of view concerning the Swedish time scale are discussed, especially the new dating of the Finiglacial epoch. The investigation of Gothiglacial varved clay by the present author has up to now resulted in the determination of the time-limits of the Older Dryas, the Alleröd and the Younger Dryas Ages.
