Protein interactions guiding carpel and fruit development in Arabidopsis

Pages 169-175 | Published online: 07 Jan 2014

Abstract

Many proteins such as transcription factors work cooperatively in transcriptional regulation, which is crucial for the correct development of an organism. In this review, we focus on protein–protein interactions and on protein complexes guiding carpel and fruit development in Arabidopsis, starting with the inflorescence and floral meristem initiation, floral organ specification, and finally on carpel and fruit tissue formation.
