Abstract

Bryophytes, being oldest terrestrial plants, are still relatively less explored for their bioactive compounds and therapeutic potential. In the present study nine bryophytes collected from Mount Abu (72.7083°E 24.5925°N) Rajasthan, India, showed significant total flavonoid and phenolic contents. Overall, the study projects the selected bryophytes as potential antioxidant agents.
