Nupur Pattanaik
Nupur PATTANAIK teaches in the department of sociology, Central University of Odisha, Koraput, India. She has a Ph.D. in sociology and specializes in issues of gender, migration, tribal and labor sociology. She is a life member of the Indian Sociological Society and the Indian Association of Women’s Studies. Her research interests include tribes, political sociology, environment & society, climatology, culture, and research methodology. She has published many articles and is presently serving as co-convenor for the Research Committee on Migration and Diaspora in the Indian Sociological society. Email: [email protected].
