John Tunbridge
John Tunbridge is Emeritus Professor at Carleton University, having formally retired in 2008. He graduated from Cambridge and Bristol Universities in the UK, and after a further two years at Sheffield, he came to Carleton in 1969. He has published extensively in and around heritage studies, of which he was among the pioneers. During his career he has undertaken visiting teaching positions in Australia, the UK and South Africa, and since retiring he has served as Visiting and Adjunct Professor respectively at Brighton (UK) and Curtin (Australia) Universities.
