The original article lacked information on the depth of two of the localities where Dorymenia quincarinata was collected. In addition, the authors want to emphasise that Dorymenia ancora sp. nov., although it could be considered as a New Zealand species, is not present in waters surrounding the southern Pacific islands of New Zealand as the other species included in this work and was collected near to the Antarctic. Since the original text includes information on the localities of all the specimens, to avoid potential errors, the authors wish to state by means of this note that the correct data are those included in . This information is now also incorporated and corrected in .
