Louisa Nnenna Onuoha

Louisa Nnenna Onuoha is a Chief Museum Education Officer of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments, Nigeria, currently working at the National Museum Oyo. She is interested in the collection, documentation and preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage especially of, but not limited to, the indigenous people of Nigeria. She is also interested in using the commission’s community-centred resources in addressing injustice. Her work has included numerous activities related to these areas, including initiating local and international, inclusive programmes. She holds an MA in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos, a postgraduate degree in Museum Studies from the Institute of Archaeology and Museum Studies in Jos, and is currently a PhD candidate at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She is a member of several local and international organisations including Africom, ICOM and CAM and has authored several publications.
