ABSTRACT
A review of Donald Katzner's book on economic modelling is provided. In addition to characterising the book, I give critical comments on the distinction between primary and secondary assumptions.

Aki Lehtinen
Aki Lehtinen is a professor of philosophy at Nankai University, Tianjin, China. He has published on various topics in philosophy of economics, social choice theory, and modelling. His most recent work is on generalisation in modelling, macroeconomic methodology, computer simulations and simulated data and philosophy of meta-analysis.
