Pages 69-79 | Published online: 02 Nov 2010

Abstract

The paper justifies a need for a Continuous Quality Improvement programme for higher education institutes in Sri Lanka. Based on an industry survey, it highlights the general weaknesses of curricula in Sri Lankan universities. The existing measures adopted to maintain quality are also examined and a model, which is capable of addressing the weaknesses and improving quality continuously, is presented.
