Dave Calvert

Dave Calvert became a senior lecturer in drama at the University of Huddersfield in 2006. Prior to this, he was an applied theatre practitioner focusing primarily on developing performance practice and training with adults with learning disabilities. From 1998 to 2003 he worked with Mind the Gap theatre company, initially as associate director and later becoming director of theatre education. He performs regularly with The Pierrotters, Britain's last remaining professional pierrot troupe, and is the chair of Chol Theatre in Huddersfield
