Abstract
Through reflection about 'The Moral Classroom' seminars that I have facilitated for both novice and experienced educators, I explore the question, how shall we teach about the moral dimensions of teaching? Drawing from class discussions, journals, and papers, I use students' questions, issues, and insights to depict how these teachers began to realise their roles as moral agents and to use a moral language for describing their practice and concerns. I discuss how 'The Moral Classroom' seminars illustrate how the components of the moral imagination can be used as referents for understanding and evaluating students' development in these seminars or similar classes and as a framework for bringing the moral dimensions of teaching into teacher education.
