Abstract
The EUR-law information system (http://eur-lex.europa.eu) provides for free access to the largest documentary repository on European Union (EU) law. The content of the site goes back to 1952 and amounts to some 1,600,000 documents. The EUR-Lex website contains EU treaties and legislation, international agreements, preparatory acts, case law, parliamentary activity, national measures implementing EU directives; and other information. There are some 170,000 visits per working day, in any of the 20 languages covered by the system.
