David J. Connor, now Professor Emeritus of Hunter College, spent over thirty years in public education as a teacher, professional development specialist, teacher coach, and college professor. He has written numerous books and articles that reflect his interest in disability studies, critical special education, qualitative research, and inclusive education.

Diane Berman is an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College, as well a career-long teacher, specializing in mathematics. She is author of two books on inclusive education.
