Pages 381-386 | Published online: 24 Jan 2012

Abstract

Democratic leadership rests on sacred values, awareness, judgement, motivation and courage. Reflection on practice and theory added vocabulary and understanding to make the implicit explicit. Moral consciousness can be accomplished through values contemplation and clarification.
