Opening Remarks

Page 129 | Published online: 20 Feb 2007

The Special Issue theme for this issue of the NRHM is ‘Minority Languages, Multimedia and the Web’ (Guest Editors, Daniel Cunliffe and Susan Herring). Our thanks are due to all those who submitted papers and to those who served as reviewers.

The theme for the next NRHM issue will be ‘Knowledge Organization Systems and Services’ (Guest-Edited by Douglas Tudhope and Marianne Lykke Nielsen). For more information and current Special Issue calls for papers, see the NRHM website (address below). We also welcome proposals for future Special Issue themes.

In addition to papers submitted in response to a call for papers on a Special Issue theme, we are pleased to receive Open Theme submissions relevant to the general scope of the NRHM. We are interested in exploiting possibilities of the digital medium afforded by the NRHM website and authors who might wish to include a digital component are encouraged to contact the Editor with any questions.

The online NRHM can be found via the journal's website at www.tandf.co.uk/journals/titles/13614568.asp (follow the link Table of Contents). Articles are available in both PDF and HTML formats (starting from 2003). The Introduction to an NRHM issue is available free, while articles can be viewed by subscribers or purchased individually. Online versions of NRHM also provide CrossRef citation linking based on Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) and a search capability.
