Abstract
In this paper the author explores the emotional factors that are activated at the level of the cultural unconscious, that produce experiences of the uncanny that are expressed through Phantom Narratives. Phantom Narratives as a hybridized term is the author’s way of linking personal and social activity of unconscious story formation through psychic presences (images). Phantom Narratives are expressions of the unconscious at the level of the group that shows the psyche’s way of narrating its relationship to the group, through the expressions of cultural, social, and political issues. The uncanny, at the level of the social, is seen as those disturbances of feelings that alienate us from the familiar social world of others. What is uncanny about Phantom Narratives is how group emotional dynamics are represented as psychic presences. Making use of the author’s own subjectivity (i.e. psychoanalytic literary genre) he uses an approach from analytic psychology (Jungian) called amplification, which allows for the elaboration of symbolic processes, to create a meaningful (semantic) context for exploration.
In diesem Artikel spürt der Autor emotionalen Faktoren nach, die auf der Ebene des kulturell Unbewussten aktiviert werden. Sie produzieren, so die These, ein Unbehagen, das über sogenannte Phantomnarrative transportiert wird. Mit dem Begriff Phantomnarrativ wird versucht, eine Verbindung zwischen personalen und gesellschaftlichen Modi der unbewussten Organisation der Geschichte durch übersinnliche Erscheinungen herzustellen. Phantomnarrative sind ein Ausdruck des Unbewussten auf Gruppenebene; sie verdeutlichen, wie das Übersinnliche über Narrationen, die kulturelle, soziale und politische Aspekte betreffen, mit der Gruppe im Zusammenhang stehen. Das Unheimliche, auf Ebene der Gesellschaft lässt sich als Störung von Gefühlen begreiflich machen, die uns von unserer sonst gewohnten Umwelt entfremden. Was Phantomnarrative so außergewöhnlich macht, ist die Frage, wie emotionale Dynamiken einer Gruppe als übersinnliche Erscheinungen repräsentiert werden.
En este artículo el autor explora los factores emocionales que se activan a nivel del inconsciente cultural y que producen experiencias de lo extraño, las cuales se expresan a través de narrativas fantasmáticas. Narrativas fantasmáticas como un término híbrido es la manera en que el autor conecta la actividad personal y social de la formación de historias inconscientes a través de presencias psíquicas (imágenes). Las narrativas fantasmáticas son expresiones del inconsciente a nivel del grupo que muestran la manera en que la mente narra su relación con éste, a través de expresiones de aspectos culturales, sociales y políticos. Lo extraño/oculto a nivel de lo social es visto como esos trastornos del sentimiento que nos alienan del mundo social familiar de otros. Lo misterioso en las narrativas fantasmáticas es cómo las dinámicas emocionales del grupo se representan como presencias psíquicas.
In questo lavoro l'autore esplora i fattori emotivi che si attivano a livello dell'inconscio culturale che producono esperienze del perturbante e che si esprimono attraverso Narrazioni Fantasmatiche. Questo termine ibrido è usato dall'autore per collegare l'attività individuale e sociale relative alla storia della formazione dell'inconscio attraverso presenze psichiche (immagini). Le narrazioni fantasmatiche sono espressioni dell'inconscio a livello di gruppo che palesa il modo della psiche di raccontare la sua relazione con il gruppo, attraverso l’estrinsecazione di questioni culturali, sociali e politiche. Il perturbante, a livello del sociale, è visto come impedimento affettivo che ci allontana dal mondo sociale familiare degli altri. Ciò che è inquietante delle narrazioni fantasmatiche è come le dinamiche emotive di gruppo siano rappresentate come presenze psichiche.
Dans cet article, l’auteur explore les facteurs émotionnels qui sont activés au niveau de l’inconscient culturel et qui produisent des expériences d’étrangeté s’exprimant au travers de récits-fantômes. Le terme de récits-fantômes est un terme hybride permettant à l’auteur de lier l’activité personnelle et l’activité sociale de construction d’histoires inconscientes à travers les présences psychiques (images). Les récits-fantômes sont des expressions de l’inconscient groupal montrant la manière dont la psyché raconte sa relation au groupe à travers l’expression de problèmes culturels, sociaux et politiques. L’étrangeté, au niveau social, est perçue comme étant ces émotions perturbées qui nous coupent du monde social familier d’autrui. Ce qui est étrange avec les récits-fantômes ce sont comment les dynamiques émotionnelles du groupe sont représentées en tant que présences psychiques.
Στο άρθρο αυτό ο συγγραφέας διερευνά τους συναισθηματικούς παράγοντες που ενεργοποιούνται στο επίπεδο του πολιτιστικού ασυνείδητου, οι οποίοι παράγουν εμπειρίες του ανοίκειου που εκφράζονται μέσα από τις Αφηγήσεις Φάντασμα. Οι εν λόγω αφηγήσεις ως υβριδικός όρος αφορούν τον τρόπο του συγγραφέα να συνδέει την προσωπική και κοινωνική δραστηριότητα του ασυνειδήτου σχηματισμού της ιστορίας μέσα από ψυχικές παρουσίες (εικόνες). Οι αφηγήσεις φάντασμα είναι εκφράσεις του ασυνειδήτου στο επίπεδο της ομάδας που δείχνει τον τρόπο της ψυχής να αφηγείται τη σχέση της με την ομάδα, μέσα από τις εκφράσεις των πολιτιστικών, κοινωνικών και πολιτικών ζητημάτων. Το μυστηριώδες, στο κοινωνικό επίπεδο κατανοείται ως εκείνες οι διαταραχές των συναισθημάτων που μας αποξενώνουν από τον οικείο κοινωνικό κόσμο των άλλων. Το μυστηριώδες για τις αφηγήσεις φάντασμα είναι πώς η συναισθηματική δυναμική της ομάδας αναπαρίσταται ως ψυχική παρουσία.
