Abstract

The Monte Carlo simulation technique has been employed to study transport by hopping between iso-energetic but randomly positioned hopping sites. Contrary to the results of Marshall, we find anomalously dispersive (non-Gaussian) transport. The existence of dispersion is demonstrated by our observation that during a time interval where the number of carriers decreases some 10%, the current decreases by almost 50%.
