Anderson transition in a magnetic field A possible phase diagram

Pages 241-250 | Received 08 Feb 1984, Accepted 05 Mar 1984, Published online: 27 Sep 2006

Abstract

The metal-insulator (Anderson) transition in the presence of a magnetic field is discussed. The two relevant parameters of the problem are the effective disorder δ and the magnetic field H. The main concern is the metal–insulator phase diagram. Previous work on the subject is reviewed, some new results are obtained, and some speculations about a possible phase diagram in the entire δ-H plane are put forward.
