Abstract
This paper provides an overview of HRD in Botswana. The paper highlights economic milestones achieved by the country and how these milestones have improved the country’s education system and laid groundwork for HRD. The paper also discusses the role of Human Resources Development Council (HRDC) as a national coordinator of HRD and its potential to bring human resources development to Botswana. Current challenges and future prospects of HRD in Botswana are also discussed.
