Acknowledgements

We extend our thanks to the many people who have worked to make this publication possible. At ASA, we would like to call attention to the often unseen work of the conference reviewers and organizers who first reviewed these papers. In the key transition from conference submission to journal article, Lindsay Carvalho organized our outreach and publicity alerting ASA presenters about the CITASA special issue of iCS. Concerning work on the special issue, we recognize the reviewers who provided excellent suggestions for authors to hone their contributions. Miles Coleman provided indispensable editorial assistance with this issue. Finally, at iCS, we extend our thanks to Brian Loader and Sarah Shrive-Morrison for the many faceted efforts to bring the special issue to press.
