Abstract

Neuropsychologists encounter many pressures that potentially bias their evaluation and opinions especially in forensic neuropsychological practice. This paper reviews a number of potential sources of bias in neuropsychological forensic practice in order to alert the clinician so that these may be avoided. Adherence to the highest ethical standard will ensure that neuropsychology remains appropriately respected by the courts.
