Cruising in the Global Economy: Profits, Pleasure and Work at Sea (The International Political Economy of New Regionalisms Series)

Book Review

Steel, F. (2009) The Asia Pacific Journal of Anthropology, vol. 10, no. 1, pp. 50–66. (DOI: 10.1080/14442210802644809).

Cruising in the Global Economy: Profits, Pleasure and Work at Sea (The International Political Economy of New Regionalisms Series)

Christine B. N. Chin
Hampshire and Burlington, Ashgate, 2008

xii, 184 pp., ISBN: 978-0-75467-242-5, £55 (hardcover).

The publisher regrets that on p. 64 of issue 1 (10) 2009 an editing error occurs. The sentence which begins “Chin places undue emphasis on the outcomes rather than processes of neoliberal economic restructuring …” should have read “Chin targets undue emphasis on the outcomes rather than processes of neoliberal economic restructuring …”.
