Australian Journal of Mechanical Engineering

, &

It is our pleasure to present to you the first edition of 2018. As we continue to roll out the strategic plan for the journal with the view of joining the SCI main index in future years, building on our inclusion into the Emerging Source Citation Index (ESCI) in 2017. Beside partnering with key conferences and calling for special issues on emerging and key topics, we have decided to consolidate the journal into 4 main themes, and accordingly, we will be grouping and publishing articles based on these themes. You will see the themes reflected in the sub-title in each of the issues. The key themes are:

  • Sustainable and Renewable Energy

  • Thermo-Fluids and Combustion

  • Robotics and Disruptive Technologies

  • Design, Manufacturing and Materials

In 2018, we will also be looking at increasing our social media presence to help authors promote and socialise their work. As we continue to partner with you to increase the relevance and impact of the journal, we wish you a successful year of research in 2018.

Best regards,
