ABSTRACT
In this work, an output feedback controller is designed based on H-infinity control theory to reduce the influence of parameter perturbation on the performance and robustness of active filters. The designed controller maintained the power current distortion rate below 2.9%, thus guaranteeing the stability of the active filter when parameter perturbation occurred. The simulation results demonstrated the new controller’s improved compensation performance and robustness compared to traditional hysteresis control.
