It has now been a year since I took over the editor position from the redoubtable and long-serving team of Angus Morrison-Saunders and Francois Retief. Thanks particularly to Angus for making the handover as smooth as possible.
I am delighted to have, since May 2015, two excellent associate editors, Mat Cashmore and Davide Geneletti. Both are already helping to improve the journal, with suggestions for articles and help in finding reviewers.
I am also very pleased to announce that Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal is now in Thomson Reuters’ Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI).
Finally, thanks to the many people who have reviewed manuscripts for Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal: reviewers are the unsung heroes of the peer review story. For many of us, they are one of the few ways of getting honest and helpful feedback on our research.
