Susan Dewey is an Associate Professor of Gender & Women's Studies at the University of Wyoming and the admissions coordinator at a transitional housing facility for street-involved women. She is the author of numerous books and articles on feminized labor and violence against women, including her forthcoming Women of the Street: How the Criminal Justice–Social Services Alliance Fails Women in Prostitution (New York University Press, 2016).
