When the above article was first published online, the following errors were noted:

  1. The asterisk symbol along with the corresponding foot note ‘*These authors contributed equally to this work.’ were included for the authors Sufang Deng and Chunzhen Cheng by mistake.

  2. The section heading ‘Transcription factor prediction involved in anthocyanin synthesis of banana peel’ was mistakenly set as ‘Prediction involved in anthocyanin synthesis of banana peel’.

These have now been corrected in the online version.

The authors apologise for these errors.
