Abstract
This paper begins by defining reflective learning and introducing family therapy as a treatment modality. It then describes the development and use of the clinical family therapy method of ‘reflecting teams’. The paper then considers the principles in common between reflecting teams and learning. We then demonstrate how the principles and practice of reflecting teams can be used as a valuable learning/teaching strategy in educational contexts.
