Trine Brox
Trine Brox is Associate Professor in Modern Tibetan Studies at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Brox has researched and written about contemporaneous issues in Tibet and the Tibetan diaspora on topics spanning from contesting secularism and translations of democracy, to conceptual history, Buddhism and economy, and ethnicity at the marketplace. One of her current research projects concerns H.R.H. Prince Peter of Greece and Denmark (1908–1980) and the Third Danish Expedition to Central Asia. This project is a collaboration with Dr Miriam Koktvedgaard Zeitzen and the National Museum of Denmark, and particularly focuses upon the seven years that Prince Peter spent in Kalimpong during 1950–1957.
