Jo Labanyi
Jo Labanyi is Professor Emerita in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at New York University. A specialist in the cultural history of modern Spain, she co-edited with Luisa Elena Delgado and Pura Fernández the 2016 volume Engaging the Emotions in Spanish Culture and History, and co-authored with Luisa Elena Delgado Modern Literatures in Spain (2022). She is currently completing a cultural history of the Spanish civil war for Reaktion Books. Email: [email protected].
