Corrigendum
On behalf of the publishers and the editorial board of Geopolitics we wish to apologise to Dr. James Sidaway whose work was used in José Luís Palmeiro Pinheiro's article “Transborder Cooperation and Identities in Galicia and Northern Portugal,” Geopolitics, Volume 14, Issue 1, 2009, Pages 79–107, without either attribution to its source or the appropriate scholarly citation. We very much regret this error.
Dr. Pinheiro writes: “This is a terrible mistake that is of my complete responsibility. After reading some of the works of Dr. Sidaway, I copied some interesting parts to make reference to them in the revised version of the paper. Regretably, I didn't modify and reference these particular quotations and I didn't notice that even when I sent it to the English editor. … I know this is an unforgivable act and I would like to apologize to you and to Dr. Sidaway for this.”
