Feminism and Media in the Post-feminist Era

Taylor and Francis would like to apologise for the absence of the author biography in the article “Feminism and Media in the Post-feminist Era: What to make of the ‘feminist’ in feminist media studies” by Andrea Press, published in issue 11.1 (pp. 107–113), doi: 10.1080/14680777.2011.537039. The author's biography should have appeared as follows:

Andrea L. Press is Professor and Chair of the Department of Media Studies and Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia. She is the author of Women Watching Television, Speaking of Abortion (with Elizabeth Cole), and The New Media Environment (with Bruce Williams), and co-edits the journal The Communication Review. Her new project looks at representation and reception of feminism/post-feminism in popular media, and concomitant attitudes toward these identities amongst women of different ages, occupations, social class, and ethnic backgrounds.
