New arbitrary-parameter families of centres for polynomial vector fields of arbitrary degree

Abstract

We characterize the centre manifold variety of the family of real planar polynomial vector fields given, in complex notation, by where N ≥ 3, and either j _l  = n _l  − 1for or there exists a unique l ₀∈{1,…,N} such that with l ≠ l ₀.
