Abstract
This paper presents an experimental visual essay, starting with some considerations about differences between anthropology and sociology in the practice of fieldwork. These differences deal with: time, involvement, use of participant observation and division of work in the sociological research. This is the framework to introduce the characteristics of visual essay as a product of fiction, to communicate the results of a sociological research.
