When the above article was first published online, the text contained transliteration errors and three pages of images were missing. These have now been corrected in both the online and print versions as follows:
Introduction section (second paragraph):
“Klezmorim: Perek betoldot ha’omanut ha‘amamit [Klezmorim: A Chapter in the History of Folk Art]3” has been amended to “Klezmorim: A Chapter in the History of Folk Art3”
“Le-ot ule-zikaron: toldot bar-mitzvah ve- hipathuto bekhaye hàam v-tarbuto betseruf bibliografya im hèaro” has been deleted.
Three pages of images have been reinstated after the seventh paragraph of the Introduction section (ending “ … the summer of 1944, as he was writing it.”).
In Note 4, “Le-ot ule-zikaron” has been corrected to “Le'ot ulezikaron”.
In the Bibliography entry for Rivkind (1942), “Le-ot ule-zikaron: toldot bar-mitzvah ve-hitpathuto bekhaye hàam v-tarbuto betseruf bibliografya im hèarot” has been changed to “Le'ot ulezikaron: toldot bar-mitzvah vehitpathuto behaye ha‘am vetarbuto betseruf bibliografya im he‘arot”.
