Editorial: UK policy on children: Key themes and implications

Pages 1-7 | Published online: 17 Aug 2006

Notes

1. Post devolution, policy formulation across the UK has become very complex. Time and space prevent us from exploring in detail the similarities and differences in children's policy in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. In our view the themes and issues we discuss are relevant throughout the UK. However the specific policy documents, legislation and guidance we refer to in the main apply to England only.
