Nikky Sternhell

Nikky Sternhell is a counsellor in private practice. She followed a couple of different careers before retraining as a counsellor, and graduated from Birkbeck in 2008. She has worked as a counsellor or therapist for a number of voluntary organisations and for the NHS. She served on the Birkbeck Counselling Association committee for a total of 5 years, including two as chair, and continues as chair of the BCA/BPC scrutiny committee, which processes applications from BCA members who would like to register with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). She was submissions editor for Psychodynamic Practice from 2016 to 2017.
