David W Jones
David W Jones is Senior Lecturer at the Open University. He has a broad interest in the development of psychosocial thinking and the relationship of the individual to the wider social group, with focus on where that relationship appears to be problematic – especially, in the contexts of mental health issues and in terms of criminality. His most recent work is on the development and use of the diagnoses of personality disorder leading to the publication of Disordered Personalities and Crime: An Historical Analysis of Moral Insanity (Routledge 2016).
He is joint Editor of the Journal of Psychosocial Studies and a founding member and Treasurer of the Association for Psychosocial Studies.
