The article by Michelle Giacobbe Allendoerfer entitled “Who cares about human rights? Public opinion about human rights foreign policy,” that appeared in Journal of Human Rights, 16(4), pp. 428–451, contained an error on pages 436-437. In presenting her fictional survey, the author mistakenly used a real name in two quotes attributed to a fictional person. Jean-Baptiste Gallopin never worked as a Chad researcher, nor did he offer any comment or praise on the Chadian government’s human rights record. The author regrets the error.
