Chitinozoan zonation is based on Nõlvak & Grahn (1993), Bergström et al. (2000), Vandenbroucke (2004) and Grahn & Nõlvak (2007a). Graptolite zonation is based on Bergström & Nilsson (1974), Nilsson (1977) and Bergström et al. (2000). Conodont zonation is based on Bergström (1971, 2007a, b), Bergström & Nilsson (1974), and Bergström et al. (2000). Frisk and Harper (2011) have shown that Sericoidea can occupy a wider range of environments, in Tvären, Sweden where large concentrations are found in shallower water settings. Generally Sericoidea is not mixed with the deeper distinctive Foliomena fauna.
