Tessa Chynoweth
Tessa Chynoweth is a historian and museum and heritage professional passionate about widening the stories we share about the past, and their connection to the present. Her doctoral research was about domestic service and domestic space in London, and culminated in an exhibition ‘Swept Under the Carpet; Servants in London Households, 1600-2000’ in 2016 at the Museum of the Home. She has since led transformational change as Curator and Heritage Manager at the Pankhurst Centre in Manchester and is currently Collections & Exhibitions Manager at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
