Brett Smith

Brett Smith is a Professor and the Head of Research within the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. His work on qualitative inquiry and disability has been published widely, and he is co-author/editor of seven books, including the Routledge Handbook Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise (2016). He currently serves on the advisory board of the journal Qualitative Research in Sport, Exercise and Health, is Associate Editor of two journals, and sits on seven editorial boards. He is the President of the International Society of Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise (twitter @QRSEsoc).
